The Betsy Ross Lilac is truly a one-of-a-kind, harder-to-find variety. Not all lilacs can be grown in warmer climates but she can be! This was the first lilac release from the U.S. National Arboretum, specifically developed for its disease resistance (like powdery mildew) in warmer climates and for its gorgeous rounded shape and fluffy, profuse white flowering habit. She’s a winner!
***Note: From late winter to early spring, lilacs are dormant (no leaves) and will be shipped bare root with minimal to no dirt. Please see the last photo for a reference of overall size, roots, and dormancy. These are an example of what you will receive. Thanks! These are around 1-2 feet tall currently.

It’s nearing the end of summer, and you’re missing all of those blooms in your yard. What do you do? You add in some Tardiva hydrangeas! These show-stoppingly beautiful hydrangeas are an absolute delight to grow. They’re low maintenance, keep pollinators happy when few other sources of nectar are available (late-blooming), and they’re guaranteed to keep you happy too. Their showy white blooms turn pinkish purple as they age in the fall. 🌸 And… if you need the perfect blooming privacy hedge, this one is perfect!
➡️ Ours are well-rooted, currently growing in 1- gallon pots. Tardiva hydrangea is a hardy, vigorous grower, so these will take off in the ground in no time! They are dormant (no leaves) from late fall to early spring. They will be shipped without pots and will be bare-rooted when they are dormant, which is a great time to buy plants. Please see the last photo for a size and quality reference before ordering. Thanks! See below for more information in the description.
