Unfortunately, yes. No Sales to Western, Territories, or Phyto-certificate states due to shipping restrictions in your state (Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Idaho). There may be additional states as well. If for some reason I cannot fulfill your order, you will be promptly refunded with an explanation email confirming why I could not ship.

Other restrictions may apply for specific types of plants but that will be clearly stated in each listing.

We do not accept returns. We do guarantee that your new plant baby will be healthy when it leaves our hands. From there, we leave the care up to you. 🙂 It’s important that you take a look at all photos in each listing and be sure to read the descriptions carefully. We don’t want you to receive something that you won’t be happy with!

Bill and I cannot stand unethical business practices because we’ve all been ripped off by a less-than-honest company, right?! That’s not who we are or what we do here. It is our goal to eliminate any unpleasant surprises by showing up-to-date accurate photos of your plant and by communicating anything you need to know.

We recognize that buying plants online is very different from touching and seeing them in a garden store. That’s why we do our best to answer your questions and accommodate your requests. The convenience of buying your plants online shouldn’t mean you don’t get what you expect or hope for!

We hope this will do away with miscommunication and unhappiness with the plant you’ve received. We may not have the most volume of plants around, but we do hope our customer service and small business heart cause you to be a returning customer!

As a small business, we cannot do this without you and we do not take your support for granted! You could shop at so many great places but you chose us, and for that, we feel extremely blessed!

We understand that unfortunate things do happen during the shipping process. In the very rare event your plant arrives dead or severely damaged, please immediately take photos and contact us. We will work with you!

Inflation has hit us all hard. Prices on everything from pots, soil, organic pest control, fertilizers, soil amendments (like compost, etc), and packing/shipping supplies have all skyrocketed. That’s just the start. Those prices don’t even factor in the amount of time (labor) we put in each day to keep these plants happy and healthy.

We however do not believe in running a business based on robbery. That’s just not our values. Our prices reflect the cost we have invested, while still remaining fair to you and to us.

We price on an individual basis by deciding how much we have invested, how hard the plant is to grow, its overall size/age, and how common or uncommon it is. We sincerely want great plants to be affordable for all people. They’re a lot of fun and bring so much joy. So we do our best to make that possible!

Currently, we use UPS for all of our shipments. There were just too many delays with USPS which made for unhappy plants and customers.

Depending on your location, we ship via UPS Ground or 2nd Day Air.

I do my best to package your plants with the utmost care and love. Roots will be wrapped in damp paper with a plastic layer secured over top to hold in moisture. We always put “live plant stickers” on your box in hopes that UPS will indeed handle your box with love.

Shipping occurs Monday and Tuesday – sometimes Wednesdayif you are close enough for a Friday delivery. We do this to prevent your plants from sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If there are major issues with your order, please reach out. We care about your happiness. ❤️

We prefer to sell small plants, for a variety of reasons. My husband likes to say, “We sell them small so you can grow them tall!” 😀

  1. Small/young plants are easier, safer, and cheaper to ship
  2. Small/young plants tend to be healthier because they haven’t been growing for too long in pots creating unhealthy roots.
  3. We can sell them for less because we have less invested

It’s really that simple. We do have older plants available but they are just too big to ship safely. So, we begin selling a plant when it is small but strong. If we don’t think it’s ready to be sold, we don’t. If it’s for sale, it’s because the roots are well-established and we are confident that with proper care, it will thrive.

Besides, isn’t it fun to plant a small shrub or tree and get to witness it grow up year after year? We think so and hope you do too!
