FAQ

Maybe we have the answer here

We try to take note of the questions everyone seems to have as well as any we can think of before they’re even asked.

Once you have added your desired plant(s) to the cart and gone through the checkout process, you have the option to either pay online (preferred method) or choose cash on delivery if doing a local pick-up.

For locals: Once your order is paid for and submitted, I will prepare your order and promptly contact you personally about pick-up arrangements (i.e. time and location). For your convenience, the pick-up location will be close by and safe for all parties involved. Please note that you will need exact change if you choose cash on delivery. I will not be able to make change.

For orders being shipped: We ship via UPS on Mondays and Tuesdays, occasionally Wednesdays, if you are close enough for a Friday delivery. (See our FAQ for more) Your plants will be packed with love either the night before or the day of shipment to ensure a healthy plant arrives to you!

We want you to be happy with your new plant. If you have ordered online and find yourself dissatisfied with the condition of the plant for any reason when we meet for delivery, say so. The order will be canceled and I will promptly refund you. We do our best to communicate honestly and transparently about the condition of our plants so these unpleasant surprises do not happen.

If you are purchasing a plant from us during an in-person sale, those sales are final with major issues being the only exception.

We do our best to communicate what each plant needs on our website and the plant information plaques included at our local sales. From there, we trust you will place the plant accordingly in an environment where it can thrive.

For shipped orders: In the rare event your plant arrives dead or severely damaged, immediately take photos and contact us. We will work with you! (See FAQ for more information)

No, I am sorry, we do not. There is just too much risk involved for us to do so.

Possibly! Because we are currently a small “backyard-style nursery,” our inventory is somewhat limited at this time. However, we would be open to an agreement that works for you and us. If we can get what you need, we could certainly work out something!

Maybe! Contact us with the form above and let us know what you’d like for us to get. Because we are a licensed nursery, we have access to resources that a non-licensed individual would not have.

However, this does not guarantee we could get what you’re looking for. If we can locate the plant you’re seeking, we will then contact you with a price and form an official agreement for payment if you choose to go forward at that cost.

We know what it’s like to love something specific and not be able to find it locally so we do our best to make your ideas happen!

Check the calendar section on our home page. Or, better yet, join our newsletter. That’s where we will announce any upcoming sales, special deals, and maybe even some surprises!

The main criteria we price our plants on are fair market value and our materials used. A lot goes into a healthy plant; pots, fertilizer, soil and amendments, and a lot of TLC (which means time!) Each comes with a significant cost for us.

We do our best to price plants fairly because we want everyone to be able to enjoy them. However, some plants will be more expensive than others due to age (size), rarity, difficulty in growing, or other factors.

There has also been a rise in shipping costs, including packing materials and boxes. A single box can cost me as much as $4 for some sizes! As a small business, we must include some of this cost in our prices or else we would be unable to stay in business. We however do aim to be fair and only charge what is necessary.
