Firepower Nandina

Firepower Nandina (Nandina domestica – Heavenly Bamboo) is a fan favorite for good reason!  Just take a look at my colors, and in our area, I’m evergreen!  In spring, my leaves come out as lime green, then mature to a deeper green, gradually changing to some red tones in mid to late summer, then finally changing to fiery red in the fall!  In between you’ll see a mix of all these (like in the photos).  I’m not sick – just changing my colors.  In the ground, especially when planted in groups, my colors are really eye-catching!

I’m perfect for foundation planting, grouped together as a low shrub border, or even just by myself with other colorful plants.  I do spread through my stems underground so keep that in mind.  Overall though, I am low-maintenance, and resist many pests and diseases!

Ours are in 1 to 2-gallon pots and are definitely ready to make you & your family smile!
