Bi-Color Butterfly Bush

If you love butterfly bushes, you’ll love the Bi-Color Butterfly Bush! (Buddleia x weyeriana ‘bicolor’) On the same panicle, it blooms a raspberry purple color and a yellow tone.  Best of all, I usually bloom from June until first frost! Pollinators love me, but deer and rabbits don’t.  I’m low maintenance, hardy, and truly beautiful.  I can be container grown but I’ll need lots of water in the summertime!  Because butterfly bushes are a shallow root, they work well around foundations, septic tanks, and wells.

Ours are in gallon pots and very ready to be out of their cramped quarters!
