Red Baron Japanese Blood Grass

If you’re looking for an ornamental grass that works perfectly as an accent plant in containers or garden beds, Red Baron Japanese Blood Grass could be just the plant! My color is pretty amazing; In summer, my bottoms are bright green and my tops turn cranberry red.  All the way through late fall, I turn a deep burgundy red.  In fact, most people consider me one of the most beautiful ornamental grasses around!

I am deer resistant, low maintenance, and butterflies enjoy me.  However, I do have a spreading habit so keep this in mind if you’re planning on putting me in the ground!

Ours are very well-rooted in 1-quart pots and have required trimming several times!  These neat plants are ready to spread out in their new home with you!
