Patriot Hosta (Hosta x ‘Patriot’) is a wildly popular Hosta for its vibrant dark green leaves, ivory margins, clump-forming nature, and the full mounds it creates. Tall stems of lavender-blue flowers appear in summer making this even more attractive, however, you can clip these off to let the hosta focus on spreading/filling out its leaves.
Nothing makes a shady area of your lawn look better than hostas with colorful plants surrounding them!
