Northern White Cedar (Arborvitae)

$30.00

Northern White Cedar (also known as American Arborvitae) is one of the most popular (if not the most popular) ornamental windbreak and hedge trees in the United States.

Ours are very large, mature trees, deeply rooted in 6 or 7-gallon pots! As you can see in the photos, they are already 2 to 3 feet tall! We are crazy to sell them at this price 🙂

Description

Is the Northern White Cedar tree right for you?

Northern White Cedars need to be grown in full sun, with moist soil. These fast-growing trees do not like to dry out because they have shallow roots!

These are evergreen so they also make excellent privacy barriers. They can live to be 400 years old (wow!) so there’s no need to replace your trees anytime in the near future.

These beauties average 20 to 60 feet tall and spread out 10 to 15 feet. On average, in the right conditions, these trees will grow 1 to 2 feet every year!

These do not like salty or dry locations. Otherwise, they are very low-maintenance trees!

Any questions, just ask 🙂 Don’t forget to take a look at our Facebook Marketplace where we have lots of other beautiful plants ready for a new home!
