Ghost Fern
$9.00
The Ghost Fern (Athyrium x Ghost) was originally discovered in a Richmond, VA garden and is a hybrid of the Japanese Painted Fern and the Lady Fern (native). This fern is beautifully unique with its silvery grey fronds in spring, turning to a grayish blue in warmer weather, and its maroon-colored midribs that are very eye-catching as a nice contrast to the leaves.
With its upright growing habit, this special fern really stands out in rock gardens, shade gardens, and shady borders. Pair this fern with purples, reds, and other vibrant colors for a beautiful display of nature’s finest.
Ours are small (but growing very nicely!) and are definitely ready for your shade garden!
