Common Persimmon Tree

$30.00

The Common Persimmon Tree (Diospyros virginiana) is a native tree producing deliciously sweet fruit (after frost) that boosts our immune systems, heals our guts, regulates blood pressure, and is full of vitamin C.  It takes only 2 – 3 years for this tree to bear fruit but both a male and female tree will be required.  Even without eating the fruit of this tree, it’s still worthy of a spot in your landscape with its dark green leaves and pale yellow blooms in spring. It also has beautiful fall color!

Ours are in 2 – 3 gallon grow bags, 2 – 3 feet tall, and are really looking forward to getting into some ground dirt!

Description

Is a Common Persimmon tree right for you?

Bear in mind, both male & female trees will be required for fruiting.  At this time, we do not know if ours are male or female because they have not yet bloomed while in their pots.
