Blue Mouse Ears Hosta
$10.00
Blue Mouse Ears Hosta was named Hosta of the Year in 2008 by the American Hosta Grower’s Association for a good reason. Their blue to gray-green leaves are curled so that they resemble mouse ears, giving this fun plant its name! In mid-summer, they produce beautiful lily-like lavender blooms, standing around 6 – 12 inches tall. Hummingbirds love me!
Because I prefer partial to full shade, I am perfect for under-tree canopies or in those tough to fill spaces in your yard. My color and clumping nature make me a high-demand favorite of growers everywhere.
Ours are well-rooted and looking to get into the ground!

Description
Are Blue Mouse Ears Hosta right for you?
Although I’m not technically a ground cover, I can be modified as use for one because my leaves are somewhat small and compact. If planting in groups or when allowed to spread over time through my rhizomes, I can cover areas where you have a hard time growing grass in the shade.
I do like rich, organic soil, so adding some compost to the hole I’m going in helps a lot!
—Our care information is coming soon! I have skipped this section (only for now) so that I could quickly get our inventory into the shop for you to browse and buy. As time allows, I will be updating each plant we have with full care information and details.—
